Benchmark Report: All entrants receive a free confidential and comprehensive benchmark report. The report compares your company practices and processes to accepted best practice in your particular sector of manufacturing. Each question will be given a weighting of 1 – 4 to indicate its importance to your business. Your answer will be given a % score and where you score is less than 70% suggestions will be made on how you could improve that score. The resulting benchmark report will only be sent to the person who originally applied unless otherwise advised. The benefit to companies of entering MX has been independently valued at over £10,000.
PR: MX finalists will also have all their efforts recognised in the media. Our PR team makes sure of this with major developments being announced via press releases throughout the year. As a result of the ongoing campaign, recent MX winners have - for example - been interviewed by The Times, Financial Times, BBC Radio 4's Today programme and BBC 1's Breakfast News.
